Tuesday, November 6, 2007WADENA-DEER CREEK REFERENDUM DEFEATEDNearly twice as many Wadena Deer Creek School District voters said no to a levy increase that would have raised the per-pupil spending from $101 to $700. 1277 voters said no, 671 said yes to the measure that would have raised roughly $710,000 each year for the next ten years.
