SEARCH FOR OLD FARMS

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture is looking for 150-year old farms to feature during the state's sesquicentennial celebration this year. Minnesota turns 150 years old on May 11th when it became the 32nd state in the Union. Officials would like to talk to landowners who have had farms in their families for at least the last century and a half. If that happens to be you, contact Allen Sommerfeld at the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. You can email him at asommerfeld@state.mn.us.
