Calling All Toad and Frog Surveyors

The Minnesota DNR is looking for volunteers who like the sound of toads and frogs to count the spring population. Jean Goad is the public affairs officer for Northeastern Minnesota. Goad said volunteers will get a route and a CD of frog and toad sounds and will be instructed to go out three times this year, mostly after dark because that's when toads and frogs are most active.
