Tour of Colors Bicycle Ride

Bicyclers in the lakes area have another tour to add to their calendar. The inaugural ride of the Tour of Colors Bicycle Ride is scheduled for Saturday, September 20th, in the Pequot Lakes area. Organizer Jim Oraskovich tells KLKS News, it will be family friendly. It will feature a 24 or 40 mile ride between Pequot Lakes and Manhattan Beach, during the peak fall colors. Oraskovich says the proceeds of the event will benefit the Patriot foundation of the Pequot Lakes Schools. Information is available at the Pequot Lakes Chamber of Commerce.
