Dahl Urges Deer Hunters to Be Careful Out There

Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl is urging safety during the fire arms deer hunting opener this weekend. He tells KLKS News, hunters must know what's beyond the shot their about to take. He says every year their are accidents that could be avoided with a little extra care. Sheriff Dahl is also warning hunters not to cross into private property with out permission. He says ignorance of property lines is no defense. About 500 thousand Minnesota hunters take to the woods in pursuit of the white tail. The season opens a half hour before sunrise Saturday.
