A Safe Highway Landing for a Small Plane in Duluth

Highway 61 on the northern fringes of Duluth was used as a landing site yesterday morning for a small Cirrus plane. The SR22 was carrying 3 people that were headed up the North Shore. Apparently the plane threw a rod shortly after take-off. The highway was not busy at the time, and no one was injured.
