Saturday, April 18, 2009Saberi Convicted of Espionage(AP) American journalist Roxana Saberi's lawyer says he'll appeal her espionage conviction in Iran. Saberi has been sentenced to eight years in prison by an Iranian court. The U.S. has called the charges baseless, and is demanding her release.
