Leech Lake Reservation Opposition to Pipeline
(AP) A planned oil pipeline crossing the Leech Lake Reservation is drawing opposition from some band members. Sandy Nichols says she has gathered 1,000 signatures to opposed the project dubbed the Alberta Clipper.
The pipeline is being built by Enbridge Energy Inc., and will connect Alberta with Superior Wisconsin.
