Another Rate Increase from Minnesota Power

(AP) Customers of Minnesota Power may be looking at another rate increase. The company says it will ask for a hike to pay for more environmentally friendly generators and renewable energy.

Minnesota power had a rate hike just last year. Final rates from that increase will take effect the end of this year.

The Public Utilities commission must approve the new request.
