Petters' Trial Gets Underway
(AP) Opening statements have been made by prosecutors in the trial of Minnesota businessman Tom Petters. They allege that he engineered a Ponzi Scheme that bilked investors out of billions of dollars. Joe Dickson, Assistant U.S. Attorney, made his opening statements today in Petters' fraud trial in U.S. District Court in St. Paul.
