Howes Cool to Racinoes

Two state legislators say Racinoes may be the answer to the state's financial problems.

State Representative Larry Howes tells KLKS News, he could support video slot machines at Canterbury Park. Beyond that, he does not want to see an expansion in gambling. He says we would be fixing the state's problems on the backs of those who cannot afford it.

Representative Howes is doubtful Racinoes would raise a lot of money. He says the dollars are limited for all forms of entertainment.
