Koering says Cities and School will See More Cuts

State Senator Paul Koering of Fort Ripley says local government and school districts are going to have to go on a financial diet. He says the Governor and legislature are going to have to make $1.2 billion in spending cuts to balance the budge this year. He says cities, counties and schools are not exempt from economic pain.

Senator Koering figures the legislature will have to pair another $5-billion from the budget during the next biennium.
