Vonn Wins Downhill!
(AP) Minnesota native Lindsey Vonn overcame an injury to win the Olympic Gold in Downhill competition today. She defeated Elisabeth Goergl of Austria, who won the Bronze, and Vonn's teammate and rival Julia Mancuso, who captured the Silver. Vonn had not skiied much in the last two weeks due to bruising her right shin in pre-Olymic practice.
