Lakes Area Food Drive Falling Short

March is an important food drive month for the Lakes Area Food Shelf in Pequot Lakes. Unfortunately, the drive is falling short, according to spokesman Don Messick. He tells KLKS News, they would like to receive three months operating funds from the drive. He says they have raised about half what they need, where they should have raised three quarters by now.

Messick says they accept both money and food, but prefer cash. Donations can be made at area churches or at the food shelf located on the property of Grace United Methodist Church. Checks can be mailed to P.O. Box 724, Nisswa 56468.
