Cass Lake Gets New Water Plant

A new water treatment plant will be built near Cass Lake through a partnership between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.

The project will cost $777 thousand. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will cover $590 thousand.

The project will cover the design and construction of a water treatment building, filtration system, landscaping and security fence.
