Ward OK After Scary Moment in Duluth

While the DFL was endorsing House Speaker Margaret Anderson Kelliher for Governor, State Representative John Ward of Brainerd was at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth. He told KLKS News, he had been busy working the convention floor for Kelliher Saturday, when his hands and feet started itching. He was rushed to the hospital when his vision turned blurry and his blood pressure dropped to a dangerous level.

Ward says he is fine now, and says he either caught a virus, or had an allergic reaction.

He says he is having a much better day today as he and his wife Sally mark their 36th wedding anniversary.
