Ag Officials Worry about Spread of Ash Borer

(AP)  The Minnesota Agriculture Department is worried about the spread of the emerald ash borer as home owners clean up from recent storm damage.

Ag officials are asking residents of Hennepin, Ramsey and Houston counties to avoid moving ash trees and branches from outside the county lines.  The three counties have confirmed infestations.

Homeowners are asked to contact their city public works office or waste removal service for the proper means of dealing with the debris.
