Hunters Urged to Buy Tags Early

Nearly a half million hunters will take to the woods and fields for the white tail deer opener Saturday. 

To avoid the rush, and potential computer problems handling the demand, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is urging hunters to get their licenses early. 

The cost of a license is $27, and can be purchased at DNR license agents across Minnesota.
