Parade of Lights Postponed

A dangerous weather system has prompted the organizers of Saturday's Pine River Parade of Lights to postpone the event for one week.

Chamber Executive Director John Wetrosky tells KLKS News, strong winds and dangerous wind chills prompted the decision.

Wetrosky says strong winds alone would stop the fireworks display.  He says they chose this weekend for the event, so they could postpone for another week should the need arise.
