Patt E. Krantz Dies At 89.

Patricia (Patt) E. Krantz, age 89, died on January 3.  Patt was born in 1921, the only child of former Minnesota Governor, Floyd B. Olson and his wife Ada.  After graduating from High School in Minneapolis, she trained in Chicago to become an aircraft communicator for the Civil Aeronautics Administration during World War II.  Krantz was a copy editor and on-the-air personality at Brainerd radio stations and was very active in the Sweet Adelines, Geritol Frolics and many community theatre productions.  She was also a member of the Senior Class Advisory Board for the Brainerd Senior Center.  She was preceded in death by her Husband, former Brainerd police officer  Albert R. Krantz and three children.  Services will be held, beginning with a 3:00pm visitation on Thursday, January 13th at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the donor's choice are preferred.
