Snow Courtesy

The Minnesota State Patrol is reminding homeowners not to plow snow from their driveway out onto the road.

Sergent Curt Mowers says the ridges left behind become dangerous for passing motorists.  Mowers says if there are no other options, homeowners could clear the ridges from the road.  However, he says it would be dangerous to be in the line of traffic.

Mowers also says motorists must give wreckers plenty of room while pulling cars from ditches, just as they would other emergency vehicles.
