Three Pierz BB Players Suspended

(AP)  Five Basketball players from Pierz Healy High School are back from a three day suspension today.  The action was taken following an alleged hazing incident.

Superintendent George Weber says the incident took place as the team was on its way back from a game in Maple Lake.  The student felt he was touched in an inappropriate way, although it was not sexual.

While the three are back in school today, they will not be able to play any basketball games for two weeks.

School officials have been talking to students about inappropriate behavior and avoiding animosity.
