Ward Hopes for Compromise

State Representative John Ward of Brainerd says Democrats and Republicans will have to reach across the aisle to get things done.   He says he will push to protect education, the disabled and seniors.

Ward says job creation is the top goal of Governor Dayton and the DFL minority.

The Legislature gavelled into session at noon today, and faces the daunting task of solving a $6.2-billion revenue shortfall.
