CL Winterfest This Weekend

It appears the weather is smiling for Crosslake's Winterfest this weekend.

Tonight, revelers will experience horse drawn wagon rides, a big old bonfire and pond skating.

Saturday will feature ice sculpture demonstrations, antique snowmobile rally, ice car races and soupfest (serving begins at noon).

A medallion hunt began Thursday.  The first clue was, "Winterfest is here, we are lucky to have snow, Our activities are many, and the cold brings us a glow.  Some people go South for the Winter season, But we say stay here, for a very good reason. "

Today's clue is, "The reason is clear, the medallion is here, Route 66 and County Road 3, Is this the area you need to be?  Make the right choice and you will see, the lucky winner you will be."
