February Looks to be Cold

The first part of February will be on the cold side, according to KLKS Meteorologist Tony Schumacher.  He says temperatures for the 28 days may be colder than average with a warm-up expected by mid month, but cool at the end.  Snowfall looks like it will be less than January, or about average for the month.

January in the Brainerd Lakes Area was about a degree below average.  More snow fell than normal, and ranged from 10-18 inches.
