Howes Favors Photo I.D.

State Representative Larry Howes of Walker says he supports an effort to require photo I.D. in order to vote in Minnesota.

The Cass County Republican tells KLKS News, they will be easy to get and will have minimal if any cost.   He rejects the argument that minorities or the poor would be most affected.  He says if they don't have cars to get to a location for a photo I.D., then they wouldn't be able to get to the polling places anyway.

Howes says there are always complaints following elections, and this is one way to make a change.
