P.L. School Board Makes Plans for Construction

Voters in the Pequot Lakes School District approved a $33 million bond referendum by a wide margin Tuesday.  The same measure failed by about 250 votes last spring.

School Board member Curt Johnson tells KLKS News, it may have taken eight months for voters to become comfortable with the message that the elementary school was too crowded.

Johnson says the school board plans to review current needs of the school before awarding contracts to add space to the elementary school and repair the high school.
