An Unremarkable February

Today we say goodbye to February.

KLKS Meteorologist Tony Schumacher says February has been close to average.  He says temperatures were about two degrees below normal, and snowfall ranged from 5 to 6 inches, also below normal.

In the southern half of the state it was another story, with snowfall amounts far above average, creating worries about the spring flood potential.

The first two weeks of March are expected to be cooler than average.
