Man Charged With Assault

Brainerd police arrested a 24-year-old man for a weekend assault on a Brainerd woman.

Justin James Klein was apprehended after the woman sought treatment at Essentia Health St. Joseph's.  Klein was booked for domestic violence, terroristic threats and unlawful possession of a firearm.  He is also wanted in Anoka County on burglary charges. 

Klein was taken into custody without incident at a residence on Dewes Road.
