Cass Co Man Goes Back to Jail

A Cass County jury has convicted Robert Arthur Litzau of Violation of the predatory offender registration requirement and burglary, for offenses occurring in the Pine River/Backus area in May of last year.

The verdicts came after a three-day trial.
It was Litzau’s second conviction for registration violations. He was convicted of a similar offense in Crow Wing County in 2009. Because of that prior conviction, the penalty carries a mandatory prison sentence of 24 months. Sentencing is expected to occur during the first week of December in Cass County District Court in Walker.

The 69-year-old Litzau will be held pending sentencing.

Good place for low life scum like this, he should never have been left out of prison in the first place.
