Fatal Accident SE of Brainerd Monday

A two car accident Monday morning has taken the life of a rural Brainerd woman.  The Crow Wing County Sheriff's office has identified her as Roxanne Marie Swanberg.

The accident between a pickup truck driven by 19-year-old Chelsey Lea Hettver and a minivan driven by Swanberg happened around 8:45 a.m. at the intersections of 5 Mile Road and Thompson Road southeast of Brainerd. 

Hettver was transported from the scene by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health Care in Brainerd.

Swanberg was declared dead at the scene.
