Wolf Trapping in MN

The wolf trapping program is set to begin again in Minnesota.

Senator Amy Klobuchar says money will come from the Agriculture Department to fund the program.

Klobuchar says the program is needed to keep residents and livestock safe.

Eighth District Congressman Chip Cravaack said, "I commend the USDA for temporarily continuing essential resources for operations to protect private property and ensure public safety from problem wolves while we work to delist the wolf from protected status in Minnesota."

Some 3,200 wolves said said to be populating Minnesota.
