Akeley Man Held On Arson Charges

Cass County authorities say a 22-year old
Akeley man is under arrest in connection with a weekend house fire.

The sheriff's office was called early Sunday to the fire in the Chickamaw Beach area.  No one was hurt in the fire.

An investigation by the sheriff's office, Pine River Police and the State Fire Marshal's Office led to the man's arrest.

He remains in custody pending charges while the investigation continues.
