Kinship Looking for Partners

January is national mentoring month.

Jean Kraft, Coordinator of the Pequot Lakes Office of Kinship Partners, tells KLKS News, their goal is to wipe out the waiting list of youngsters looking for a mentor.  She says it used to be that most of the boys and girls came from single family homes.  Now, she says adult partners are needed because of a parent, working out of state, military deployment and disability.

Kraft says there currently are 50 boys and girls looking for an adult partner.  More information can be found in the website, Kinshippartners.org.
