Police Academy is Coming to Baxter

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a cop?

This spring the Crow Wing County Chiefs of Police Association will be offering a Citizen’s Police Academy program for those interested in learning more about what goes on in the law enforcement profession.

The 2012 Academy will run 8 weeks with meetings every Thursday evening starting at 6:30 p.m. and ending around 9:30 p.m. The first class will be on April 5th, 2012 at the Brainerd Police Department.

Each week the participants will learn about different aspects of the police profession. Lessons will be taught by local officers. These instructors will take the participants through different topics with instruction and hands-on class participation.
