Ironton Woman With Three Kids In the Car Arrested

The Minnesota State Patrol says an Ironton woman who led troopers on a high-speed chase with three young kids in her pickup truck has been arrested. No one was injured.

The chase began in Benton County on Thursday evening and ended in Sherburne County.

Authorities say troopers tried to stop the 31-year-old woman for speeding but she refused to pull over. She allegedly got onto a highway and fled 20 miles to Clear Lake.

Troopers eventually used stop sticks to deflate at least one tire, and the woman was taken into custody.
The children were ages 7, 3 and 2. The driver's name has not been released.

Three squad cars sustained minor to moderate damage while attempting blocking maneuvers during the chase.
