Klobuchar Focusing on Oil Speculators

As gasoline prices at the pump have gone up, President Obama's popularity has gone down. 

Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar says speculators have been driving the price far more than public policy or supply side economics.  The DFL Senior Senator tells KLKS News, she wants to put rules in place restricting the influence of speculators.

Senator Klobuchar says there is one speculator who controls more than 5 percent of the oil market. 

The Senator also is promoting bio fuels, domestic oil production, natural gas and fuel efficient vehicles.
